For the first time, the Egyptian star Mohamed Ramadan spoke about it His crisis with the late pilot Ashraf Abu Al-Yusr Who died after his flight license was revoked, after the controversial artist took a photo in the cockpit and posted it on social media, which led to a crisis between the two sides, which reached the judiciary , during which the pilot died.
And he said at an upcoming New Year’s Eve Arts Soiree with Mona El-Shazly, “I am shocked that I caused him something hard … May God have mercy on him, the pilot, Ashraf Abu Al-Yusr.”
Interestingly, the Supreme Court had rejected Ramadan’s request to stop enforcing the Economic Court’s judgment and oblige him to pay £6 million in his case with the late pilot Ashraf Abu Al-Yusr, in compensation of the damage caused to the pilot.
And the Cairo Economic Court had decided to compensate the pilot, Ashraf Abu Al-Yusr, with a sum of 6 million pounds from the artist, Mohamed Ramadan, for the damages suffered due to a photo that Ramadan published on an aircraft flown by Captain Abu Al-Yusr, and the subsidiary case was dismissed.
The lawsuit alleged that the artist, Mohamed Ramadan, took advantage of his client’s image to promote himself by releasing a video clip for his new song, which he called “You Don’t Search at the Airport”, exploiting the image of the pilot, Ashraf Abu Al-Yusr, in a performance scene while driving the plane, which caused him severe financial and moral damage.
A health crisis… and intensive care
And the Egyptian pilot, Ashraf Abu Al-Yusr, died last April, inside the intensive care room after suffering a health crisis, 6 weeks after the end of the crisis that broke out between him and the artist, Mohamed Ramadan, after the Aviation Ministry revoked Abu Al-Yusr’s life license for allowing Ramadan to enter the plane’s cabin and post photos.
Information at the time indicated that the pilot’s health had recently deteriorated as a direct result of Muhammad Ramadan, underlining that his health had begun to deteriorate since the beginning of the conflict with the artist, having been subjected to several crises due to of his bad psychological state.
The pilot’s lawyer sought £25 million in compensation for the incident, before the court decided to obtain £6 million, which has become final and mandatory.
