In an interview with ‘ran’, he said he could imagine a job at the DFB after the resignation of sporting director Oliver Bierhoff: “In the end it’s about our football. I’m a child of the Bundesliga and I’ve been through a lot. And I think so , that I could say a thing or two on the subject if I wanted.”
According to the 1990 world champion, working with “young people” is what attracts him. He also believes that the DFB and the German Football League “can find ways to improve things”.
