Essays from I’m a Celebrity: Slither River

Having already been nominated for so many Bushtucker events, Natalie Appleton had finally dropped out in the Slither River event.

During the test, Natalie had to drop 10 buoys tied to a rope in the icy water filled with snakes and eels.

Natalie was already weak because she wasn’t eating enough, so she only managed to earn one star before giving up.

Screaming into the ice-cold water, she said, “I’m too dizzy, I’m going to pass out. I am really dizzy. I’m so sorry everyone.

Scott Henshall

Scott Henshall shocked everyone at home when he left Jungle Boogie after winning just one star.

In order to earn meals for the camp, Scott had to wear plastic pants and dance to disco songs.

All while being covered in critters!

The fashion designer only lasted one track before dropping the lawsuit, shouting, “I don’t dance and I hate bugs!”

One of the trials she walked away from was the Dreaded Digger, where she was told creepy critters would be thrown at her head.

After taking on the challenge, she told hosts Ant and Dec, “It’s just too much.”

Gillian also made television history when she passed out on live television after learning she had been voted on to participate in the upcoming trial.

Corrie star Helen Flanagan tended to panic during her challenges.

So naturally everyone wanted to vote for her in the Bushtucker trials.

However, her campmates weren’t very happy when she stopped bringing back stars for the camp.

In one of the trials, Helen was locked in a crate full of horrible creatures, and in just five seconds, she’s already begged Ant and Dec to let her out.

She also walked out of Rodent Run’s trial before it even started because she claimed she “couldn’t be disturbed anymore”.

One trial involved her crawling into a tunnel and being buried by many scary critters.

But even before entering the pit, she refused to participate.

She explained that she had a cousin who died from being buried alive, so the trial would be very “traumatic” for her.

Lady C also declined to test Scarier 51, saying she was no longer going to test.
