The blogger is wondering if the patriot Gazmanov didn’t have simpler clothes.
Russian blogger Ilya Varlamov did not bypass attention to the scandalous performance of the singer Oleg Gazmanov at the Luzhniki stadium at a concert dedicated to the Defender of the Fatherland Day and the anniversary of the SVO. The artist, who supports the policy of the Russian authorities and the military invasion of Ukraine, appeared on stage in a black down jacket from the Italian brand Prada for 340 thousand rubles, but sealed the recognizable logo on his chest with black tape.
“I just can’t understand one thing. Gazmanov is going to inspire people in a patriotic frenzy at the Luzhniki festival. He opens the closet, looks at his wardrobe … He sees his beloved Prada down jacket, which costs like the annual salary of the average viewer of this show. And Gazmanov becomes embarrassed. He takes some kind of electrical tape and seals the logo, which attracts attention even more. Couldn’t it have been put on some kind of padded jacket or something simpler? You could borrow a jacket from the driver or a security guard on the kraynyak. On the other hand, maybe he was riding in a sable skin and I just took Prada from the driver at the last moment,” Varlamov wrote.
In addition to Gazmanov, Grigory Leps, SHAMAN and other artists supporting Putin performed at the stadium.
The Russian president himself also appeared before those present. Unlike his address to the Federal Assembly, which lasted 1 hour and 50 minutes, here he spoke for only 10 minutes, mentioning that “just now there is a battle on our historical frontiers, for our people,” and Russian troops are “fighting courageously, heroically and bravely”.
Previously Focus wrote that Gazmanov was put in an uncomfortable position in Dubai with the question of Ukraine. In October last year, the European Union imposed personal sanctions against Oleg Gazmanov for supporting the Russian war against Ukraine. In addition to him, the singer Yulia Chicherina was also on the sanctions list.
