Ilya Illidan Pivtsaev Critiques Blade Mail in Dota 2 and Discusses Patch 7.34e

Team Spirit streamer Ilya Illidan Pivtsaev spoke about the Blade Mail item in Dota 2. The content maker shared his opinion in a video on the club’s YouTube channel.

I hate the Blade Mail item. It seems to me that this is the most stupid item in Dota, it should not exist at all. Because you can be at any rank now – I’m talking about matchmaking, I’m not particularly touching on the professional scene, [хотя] even there is Blade Mail plus Heart of Tarrasque, it’s just some kind of nonsense, how strong it is – in a pub you may really not play very well, but you can be forgiven for this, because you bought Heart of Tarrasque, clicked Blade Mail, and you are the champion of this game.

I really don’t like that Blade Mail wasn’t fixed [в патче 7.34e]. For all the other clothes, it’s fine, everything’s okay, no problems, Hand of Midas is there, back and forth. Blade Mail really creates absolutely vomiting gameplay like clothes. It’s just that the clothes themselves turn the game around – I have more HP than you, you can’t beat me, which means I won. It is not normal. I don’t think that this is some kind of correct “Dota”, which in my head is presented as a good game.

In the video, Pivtsaev also discussed the changes in patch 7.34e. He named the pros and cons of the balanced update, and also suggested which heroes will become popular after its release.
