Ilocos Norte 1st district Rep. Sandro Marcos congratulated Jether Corpuz, the highest ranked passer in the 2022 Bar examinations from Mariano Marcos State University. In a Facebook post, Marcos gave a shout-out to all the new Ilocano attorneys in the province and particularly commended Corpuz for ranking 12th in the exam, garnering a score of 86.75%. The post also stated that the university was the fifth top performing law school in the country, with a 75 percent institutional passing rate. Marcos is the eldest son of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

The authors studied the impact of a child’s socioeconomic environment on brain development, finding it was not uniform across regions, and had a larger impact on brain development in late-maturing associative brain regions, particularly in adolescence.
