Norbert Ketterer did not imagine it that way. That he’s suddenly the talk of the town. That he is a tough real estate investor who is said to have driven the traditional Zurich city hotel Ascot into ruin. Last week, the “Tages-Anzeiger” publicized that the hotel in the Enge district had to deposit its balance sheet because the owner, Norbert Ketterer, “refused any concession” on the rent. “Survival is no longer possible with this burden,” said hotelier Christian Frei. Going to the bankruptcy judge was inevitable.
