Illegal work in the Alento riverbed: seizure is triggered

It had been built in the bed of the Alento riveran area included in the homonymous site of community interest, a gravel crushing and processing plant which was seized in Ciceraleinside the Cilento National Park, Vallo di Diano and Alburnidai carabinieri of the nucleus Roccadaspide Park and of Cilento and Vallo di Diano national park department. From the investigations coordinated by prosecutor’s office of Vallo della Lucania it emerged that the plant for the production of sand and stone, of approx 3 thousand square metersoperated without the necessary authorizations from the Campania region and of Civil engineering and without landscape and environmental authorizations, such as the authorization of thePark authoritylandscape authorization and impact assessment.
