Several thousand car freaks in tuned cars, mainly from Germany and the Netherlands, descended on the Kanaal-Noord industrial estate in Bree on Saturday evening. There they held drag races, turned donuts, and drifted, among other things. “This will not go unpunished,” said the police, who noted the license plates of the offenders.
