Action illegal street racing until closing Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Central Jakarta, went viral on social media. This incident is investigated by the police and the perpetrators will tracked via CCTV.

“We are studying it,” said the Director of Lantas Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Sambodo Purnomo Yogo when contacted, Saturday (19/2/2022).

The incident occurred on Friday (18/2) early morning. Dozens of wild racers can be seen lined up closing one road at location.

Sambodo said the motorbikes involved in the viral video were being investigated. His party will use the e-TLE camera to track down the perpetrators.

“We also match it with the e-TLE data,” explained Sambodo.

The illegal racing action is known to be viral on social media. In the viral video, dozens of motorbikes can be seen crowding the location.

The group of motorcyclists seemed to be waiting for someone’s signal to drive. There was the sound of the gas motor of the street racers.

“Come on, Bang, gas, Bang,” said the video recorder as seen on Saturday (19/2/2022).

The condition of the road that was closed by motorists seemed inversely proportional to the road on the opposite side. At that location normal traffic flow with cars and motorbikes can pass.

On the road that was closed, the motorcyclists were still getting ready and pumping their motorbikes. When the signal was given, dozens of motorbikes simultaneously drove from the location of Jalan Jenderal Sudirman.
