Ecuador national team tick Byron Castillo from the team list World Cup 2022. The right-back had previously been accused of being an “illegal” player from Chile.
Ecuador released their 2022 World Cup squad list, on Monday (11/14/2022). Many young and experienced players have been called up, from Alexander Dominguez, Moises Caicedo, Angel Mena, to Enner Valencia.
Ecuador, on the other hand, did not include Castillo in the squad that left for Qatar. The 23-year-old player was previously a major pillar the tricolor from World Cup Qualifiers 2022.
