The Deputy Chairman of the National Bureau for Control of Special Intelligence Means Ilko Zhelyazkov filed an application today to be relieved of his post of his own volition, announced bTV.
He was one of the US-sanctioned under the Magnitsky Act.
Zhelyazkov is on the list along with Vasil Bozhkov and Delyan Peevski. So far he was on leave.
By law, he was appointed by parliament, so Zhelyazkov filed his application with the National Assembly.
