Ilkay Gundogan, a classic midfielder from Barcelona, the Spanish La Liga giants, has reached an agreement to return to play for Manchester City, his former club. In the Premier League, City of England, after “Chao Boon Thum” gave the green light to move the team for free.
“The Athletic”, a well-known media outlet, reports that Gundogan, who decided to say goodbye to Barcelona after joining the army for just one season, will sign a one-year contract with Manchester City, with terms that allow the contract to be extended for another 12 months.
To facilitate his return to the Etihad Stadium, Gundogan also agreed to waive the remaining two years of his contract with Barcelona.
