/ world today news/ The Committee on Regional Development of the European Parliament started the discussion on the report proposed by Iliana Yotova on the mountain regions in the EU.
The report will be presented at the beginning of next year and is expected to be voted on in the plenary hall of the EP in the summer of 2016. The MEP’s idea for a mountain strategy was unanimously approved by all parliamentary groups, and the European Commission expressed its desire to cooperate on the subject.
