In connection with the statements made by Rumyana Bachvarova on bTV, the show “This Morning”, Mrs. Iliyana Yotova posted on her official Facebook page:

We provide you with the text of the post:
In the morning, in the program This Morning on bTV, Rumiana Bachvarova made a number of false (to put it mildly) statements on national air. A little later, he continued to reproduce them at a special press conference. They are easily disproved with the documents I post here:
1. Regarding the funds allocated to deal with the migrant pressure at the border – it is clear from an answer to my question to the Commissioner for Migration, Home Affairs and Citizenship – Mr. Avromopoulos – that the funds are in the amount of €101 million + 10% co-financing from the state, which makes a total of 112 million euros, after some adjustments have been made to the agreed on 16.9.2016 in Bratislava, the amount of 108 million euros. The number 160 million is completely missing from the answer. It was widely circulated by the government.
2. The date of receipt of the response from the EC is November 30, 2016, i.e. 7 days ago, not two months ago, as claimed by Mrs. Bachvarova. So the answer fully and objectively reflects the case with the agreed means.
3. Regarding the three new centres, this information is again contained in Commissioner Avramopoulos’s reply and is not my own invention.
4. Regarding the invitation to visit the “Captain Andreevo” border crossing point, I am attaching a letter from the chairman of the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Internal Affairs of the EP – Claude Moraes – to the president of the EP – Martin Schulz, in which Mr. Moraes requests permission to be sent on this mission, in my capacity as its vice-chairman. I am also attaching the answer of the President of the EP, Martin Schulz, with which he gives the requested permission.
Here I would like to ask Mrs Rumiana Bachvarova a question – is she accusing Commissioner Avramopoulos of lying, since the figures regarding the allocated funds and the new centers are contained in his answer?
