Ile-de-France. Prostitution network dismantled, three suspects imprisoned

Three men were indicted Friday evening by the Bobigny prosecution and imprisoned, suspected of having prostituted ten young girls, including some minors, in Seine-Saint-Denis and in the Val d’Oise, we learned on Saturday from a judicial source.

Remanded in custody

A judicial investigation, with referral to an investigating judge, was opened for aggravated pimping in organized gangs conspiracy and human trafficking, said this judicial source, confirming information from the Parisian. The three men were placed in pre-trial detention.

They were arrested in different cities of Seine-Saint-Denis and Val-d’Oise, as part of a long-term investigation, carried out by the departmental department of the judicial police of 93.

Eleven victims, including seven minors

Eleven victims at this stage have been identified, four major and seven minor, the youngest being 16, said this source familiar with the matter.

In February, a national pimping network that exploited at least 45 women, some of them minors, had been dismantled in Val-d´Oise after nine months of investigation.

Young girls, psychologically vulnerable and socially disrupted, were recruited from among themselves on forums and, to leave the network, had to find a replacement.
