Those of you who follow various news and memes related to video games are likely to be familiar with the name Ikumi Nakamura. His name first skyrocketed when his super excited personality was reflected in front of the E3 stage when Ghostwire: Tokyo was introduced for the first time at that time. But unfortunately instead of continuing with Tokyo Gameworks, Nakamura actually left for mysterious reasons at that time. Luckily, instead of sinking, he built a new studio called UNSEEN. For the first time, he finally showed what his new studio concept would look like.
Coming with the concept of an open office without many partitions, Nakamura concocted an office design that looks spacious and elegant at the same time. With the UNSEEN logo immediately welcoming at the start, he also wanted to ensure that his multi-cultural team could not only work optimally, but also maintain their health, especially for back problems. He also ensured that the various facilities were friendlier for female developers, from breastfeeding rooms, opportunities to bring children to work, and sanitary pads which could be obtained free of charge. You can see the team members seem to have reached the number ten, including one from Indonesia.
Ikumi Nakamura himself still hasn’t unraveled the mystery of what kind of first game he will be concocting and whether he has teamed up with a publisher who is ready to finance it or not. What do you think about this UNSEEN office?
