At ikp Vienna there are two reasons to be happy: Daniela Gissing (30) has been promoted to Senior Consultant after many years of experience. Julia Ruff (28) becomes a consultant after almost four years in the ikp team.
Daniela Gissing has been part of the ikp team since 2015 and since April 2022 part of the now seven-strong senior consultant squad of the Viennese PR agency. She looks after customers from the health, trade, tourism and IT & telecommunications sectors, including Magenta Telekom, Cineplexx, Libro, Pagro Diskont, Blaguss, the Donauturm, Primark and Synlab. In her new position, the Viennese will take on even more managerial, employee and budget responsibility in her customer teams and will focus primarily on strategic consulting, crisis communication and media relations. She is also a certified PR quality manager and thus contributes to the further professionalization of the PR industry. Within the agency, the Viennese is responsible for the magazine PRspektiven and the strategic orientation of ikp’s social media presence.
The 30-year-old completed her master’s degree in media and communications consulting at the St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences, before completing her bachelor’s degree in marketing and sales at the Vienna University of Applied Sciences.
Julia Ruff works at the Viennese PR agency ikp in the areas of IT & telecommunications as well as consumer brands & retail and has been part of the consulting team since April. She has been with ikp since 2018 and has since expanded her know-how as an assistant and junior consultant. Her customers include LG Electronics, Magenta Telekom, Salesforce, EY, bellaflora and the McArthurGlen Designer Outlets in Parndorf and Salzburg. Her focus revolves around media relations, cooperation agendas, classic media work and reporting – all types of texts are also part of her main area of responsibility. Internally, the 28-year-old is responsible for the agency’s own blog and the monthly ikp newsletter.
Before she started at ikp, the native of Lower Austria studied communications at the Vienna University of Applied Sciences and gained several years of experience in the real estate sector. With her promotion, Julia Ruff takes on additional customer and area responsibilities as well as agendas in conception and consulting.
