Jakarta –
Not all government officials get official cars at IKN. Only this official got an official car at IKN Nusantara.
The National Capital City (IKN) of the Archipelago will adopt an environmentally friendly concept. The vehicles used at IKN Nusantara are also environmentally friendly. Within IKN Nusantara public transportation will also dominate. Meanwhile, 100 percent of the vehicles available are electric-powered vehicles.
Officials who live in IKN are also not provided with official cars. Deputy for Facilities and Infrastructure at the IKN Authority Silvia Halim said there were no official official cars for government officials. The only officials who still get official cars are the president and ministers.
“Usually in the government there are official cars, but at IKN there will be no official cars except for the president and ministers. (Officials) The rest have to use public transportation,” Silvia was quoted as saying detikFinance.
Silvia explained that this policy is currently still being developed. In order for this to happen, Silvia also explained that the availability of public transportation in IKN must be adequate.
Apart from being environmentally friendly, the vehicles available at IKN Nusantara are also based on advanced technology. Head of the IKN Authority, Bambang Susantono, said that in the year 2045 at IKN there will be flying taxis and autonomous vehicles without drivers will be used at IKN in the future.
“Approximately what will it be like in 2045? I’m making it up for us to make our visions for the future. There will be flying taxis, for example drones, robots that will monitor all city developments, possibly also for logistics, the vehicles must be electric vehicles, transportation generally too driverless “There’s no driver,” said Bambang at the Post-IKN Future Seminar recently.
From Bambang’s presentation, the design of the capital city of the archipelago in 2045 will be even more sophisticated. There will be autonomous public transportation based on demand (on demand). There are also flying taxis or Advanced Air Mobility with a capacity of five people.
Apart from that, there will be autonomous drones and robots to support the city’s logistics circulation. A comprehensive electric vehicle ecosystem is also being prepared.
