I thought exactly the same, I used heaps of GU10 spotlights from Ikea here, which, for lack of a better place, I always reset in a fitting in the hall before I gave them a name and put them into use in my system.
Very hassle, climbing on a stool, piling a spotlight in the holes, turning the switch on and off 6 times, waiting for a flashing signal, taking it out again, giving a name with a marker, giving a name in the app, etc. etc.
So I thought I would buy a cheap separate GU10 fitting to simplify things a bit, but you guessed it, no commercial did what he had to do.
And that same commercial in the hall? First time right, of course.
Must have something to do with distance to bridge or other spot / lamp or something already in the network ….
