IKEA shortcut button listed online in Germany

We already reported about itthat the IKEA shortcut button is coming to Germany. It should be ready in February. The TRÅDFRI shortcut button (battery operated, CR2032) is now technically nothing new, you just automate something and put this automation on the button. The buttons will be delivered with six pictograms (three empty, three pre-printed), which are placed under a transparent cover to identify the function of the individual buttons.

Of course, you can also paint your own scenes and put them under the plastic cover of the button. The button was previously only found on the Dutch side of the company, but now it is too arrived in the German shop.

With a little surprise: It is currently listed for 6 euros. It is quite possible that the sum is not yet final, actually 7.99 euros are planned. The buttons on the IKEA button are designed in such a way that they lie on tables or can be attached to walls (by screw, magnet or adhesive tape), where a single push can trigger a scene. Scenes are created in the app for IKEA’s smart home. For example, a “TV Time” button could lower the Fyrtur blinds, turn up the Symfonisk loudspeaker, switch on a fan and dim the living room lighting.

IKEA speaks on its own website that the button may already be available in some furniture stores – from February 2 it can also be ordered online.
