I understand the advantages, I have 4 wireless chargers, but for me these are fixed places where I am a lot, where I always put my phone.
A power bank is made to be able to charge just as quickly in an emergency when you are out the door. In any case, you have to put it down somewhere for this, because you can’t keep it in a bag, for example, and a good place where that could be, for example, is in the train, but then you want to use your phone, which then doesn’t work.
So when do you have that situation where you say: “Look and that’s why I now have a wireless power bank”? And if those moments are there, how much of a situation you must have: “What a shitty thing, I can’t even charge my phone properly”.
I don’t have them with me anymore, but I can’t imagine a single situation where wireless would have been an advantage, but an incredible number of situations where it would have been a drama.
I’d like to believe that someone somewhere can really get a small advantage in a very specific case, but I don’t see it beyond that.
Oh and in case you are afraid of your USB C, you can look at the magnetic connection, although it will of course not work very well if you want to charge it in a bag, because that cable will also come loose.
