IKEA is investing heavily in expansion. The Swedish furniture group is not only looking at growth opportunities in Asia. In the spring, the first South American store will open in Santiago, Chile. IKEA currently has more than 460 stores worldwide. It is the intention that in the current financial year, which runs until the summer of next year, nearly sixty more branches will be added.
