In June 2019 Ikea ad the beginning of a collaboration with Lego with the aim of inventing a storage system for the popular construction game. The system is called Bygglek, and it basically consists of boxes that you can use both to store pieces and to play with them.
The boxes are a bit like White buildings look minimal and come in four different sizes. Both the top and bottom integrate the popular Lego anchor system, so they are stackable with each other and also we can build on them as normal. Holes in the sides of the larger models offer some additional support in case we want to build windows, bridges, or some other structure.
The boxes will arrive at Ikea stores in the United States and Europe on October 1 and will be sold in three different batches. The big box costs 15 euros, the small 12, and there is a package with three smaller boxes for 10.
