Wife of the Minister of Fisheries and Maritime Affairs (KKP) Edhy Prabowo, Iis Rosita Dewi, is known to have accompanied her husband on a visit to the United States (US) before being arrested NCP. DPR Honorary Council (MKD) said Iis’s action did not violate any DPR regulations, but questioned the source of the funds to finance his trip to the US.

According to Trimedya, Iis officially joined Edhy Prabowo’s entourage to the US. The PDIP politician once again said the source of Iis’s travel expenses to the US needed to be known.

On the other hand, Trimedya said that Iis’ trip to accompany her husband to the US did not violate DPR regulations, even though it was held during the DPR session. According to him, the trips of DPR members outside the city and abroad must be known and obtained permission from the factions and commissions.
“No, it doesn’t (violates DPR regulations). What needs to be done is usually the permission from the faction, of course the Gerindra Party faction gives permission,” he said.
