We inform you that the II International Congress of Film and Identitieswhich is subtitled Cultural Industries, Musical Flows and Transnational Discourses, opens the extension for the reception of proposals.
This congress promotes the study and research of cultural identities articulated in cinema, in which music and soundscapes play a prominent role from transdisciplinary perspectives. We seek to build bridges between musicology, film studies, studies
culture, gender studies, sociology and audiovisual communication.
Among the main topics of study are:
- National, border and for export cinemas from the perspective of music
- Stars and cultural industries
- Performance, corporality and gender
- Affects and sound atmospheres
- Cinema, music and propaganda
- Animated film and sounds
- Music in the new audiovisual consumption devices
- Music and film in education
All proposals dealing with any of the topics mentioned above or related topics will be welcome.
A publication will be edited with the results of the Congress.
