Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – For three consecutive days, the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) managed to strengthen and continued to set new records, most recently in trading on Thursday (14/3/2024). This achievement was achieved even though the index movement was volatile and also experienced quite deep corrections.
Meanwhile, the JCI closed up 0.16% to 7,433,315, its all-time high (ATH). The day before, JCI also set a record at 7,421.21.
The index transaction value at the end of trading on Thursday reached around IDR 13.10 trillion, involving 14.62 billion shares traded 1.3 million times. A total of 271 shares rose, 232 shares weakened, and 269 shares were flat.
Meanwhile, foreign investors were again recorded as making jumbo net purchases, namely IDR 1.93 trillion in all markets. The details are IDR 1.78 trillion in the regular market and IDR 144.14 billion in the negotiated and cash markets.
Apart from that, foreign investors also made net sales of a number of shares which put pressure on the JCI movement. Quoting RTI Business, the following is net foreign sell trading yesterday.

4. PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk. (BREN) – IDR 11.0 billion
5. PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (BBNI) – IDR 9.3 billion
6. PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk. (UNVR) – IDR 8.5 billion
7. PT Barito Pacific Tbk. (BRPT) – IDR 8.3 billion
8. PT Indosat Tbk. (ISAT) – IDR 5.8 billion
9. PT Avia Avian Tbk. (AVIA) – IDR 4.8 billion
10. PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk. (MNCN) – IDR 4.7 billion
