IHSG rebounded, foreign stocks were actually on sale Friday (23/10)

KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) closed up 0.40% or rose 20,372 points to the level of 5,112,188 on Friday trading (23/10).

During trading, JCI moved in the green zone with the lowest level of 5,095,507 and the highest level of 5,121,020.

Quoting RTI data, seven out of 10 sectors rose. Among others, the construction sector rose the highest 3.66%, the miscellaneous industry sector rose 2.44% and the plantation sector rose 0.86%.

Meanwhile, the three sectors that declined were the infrastructure sector, which fell 1.18%, the basic industry sector was cut by 0.21% and the trade sector fell 0.08%.

The total trading volume on the Indonesia Stock Exchange was 11.10 billion shares with a transaction value of Rp 8.35 trillion. A total of 191 stocks rose, 223 shares fell and 159 stocks were stagnant.

Foreign investors posted net sell or net sales of Rp 45.69 billion in all markets.

Foreign investors continue net selling or net sell tto the shares of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) IDR 252.4 billion. TLKM shares closed 2.59% cut to Rp 2,630 per share. The total trading volume of TLKM’s shares reached 174 million with a transaction value of IDR 462.2 billion.

Foreigners also sell shares of PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (BRAKE) Rp 19.8 billion. FREN shares closed 2.67% lower at IDR 73 per share. The total trading volume of FREEN shares reached 539.7 million with a transaction value of Rp 38.9 billion.

Foreigners also released shares of PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (INDF) IDR 17.1 billion. INDF shares slumped 2.08% to Rp 7,075 per share. The total trading volume of INDF shares reached 8.1 million with a transaction value of IDR 57.8 billion.
