KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) closed the last day of trading this week with a slight decrease. Friday (16/10), JCI eroded 0.03% to the level of 5,103.41. Within a week, JCI strengthened by 0.98%.
MNC Sekuritas analyst Aqil Triyadi explained, the JCI this week strengthened due to the sentiment of the ratification of the Job Creation Bill or all the law market views tend to favor investors. The JCI was also lifted by the merger agenda of state-owned Islamic banks and formation holding state-owned battery factory.
