Of the 4,700 trainees who graduated this year from the Mittlerer Niederrhein Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK), 261 of 189 training companies received awards for passing the exams with “very good”. They took the stage with equally beaming faces and let themselves be celebrated with a great support program. The IHK had invited to the artwork in Mönchengladbach to honor not only super trainees but also top training companies, vocational institutes and advanced training graduates. The focus of the event, however, was on young people.

The best three of the 361 graduates of the higher education exams were also awarded. “Anyone who wants to advance professionally should continue learning after training, as these 361 graduates did,” says Jürgen Steinmetz, IHK’s general manager. “With our celebration, we pay tribute to these dedicated people and show: Performance pays off.” The dual system of vocational training and higher education would make a significant contribution to the success of the regional economy. The three best graduates of the higher education exams are: Nalan Demiröz-Wenschuch (certified business economist), Claudia Frese (certified specialist for the organization of offices and projects) and Andrea Bruch (certified industrial foreman specialized in paper processing and of plastic).

The President of IHK also found words of praise for the best training companies. “Your commitment is paying off. The look at the many successful faces tonight speaks volumes ”. The special award in the field of technical and commercial training goes to Scheidt & Bachmann GmbH with its apprentice Niklas Groth, electronic technician for devices and systems. In the area of ​​commercial training, Kliniken Maria Hilf GmbH has the most successful trainee in Helen Ingmanns, employed for the management of the office. Also a special award – this time in the field of commercial training in the retail trade – went to the local welfare association Neuss eV with trainee Marcel Brand, salesman. The special award for the best initial training company went to Simon Möller, the main representative of Allianz-Beratungs- und Vertriebs AG, with their trainee Dirk Wellemsen, an insurance and financial employee.

In addition, the four best vocational schools were again awarded a special prize: the Rheydt-Mülfort Vocational School of Technology, the Volksgarten Vocational School of Business and Administration and the Grevenbroich Vocational School took the podium.
