Igo’s anniversary concert was performed in Dzintari with a standing ovation and powerful singing

These days, the latest work of the singer Igo – the song “Ku-Kū” – which is also included in the program of his Christmas concert tour “Patiešāmis uvādi Ziemassvētki” – has started playing on Latvian radio stations. The first concert will take place already this Friday, December 15, in Rēzekne, at the Latgale Embassy GORS.
The singer says about the new song, which has the author of both the words and the music: «When we meet a person who is in the power of his fantasy, we often cannot stop his story or dispute it… This is the message of the song “KU-KÜ”. Listen with a smile and don’t talk back – you won’t change anything either. And you don’t need to!”
The song was recorded in November 2023 at the “Red Room” studio. Igo played the accompaniment of the song with various musical instruments – ukulele, violin, accordion, percussion. Sound director and performer of the piano part – Edvards Broder.
