Air Force press attaché of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ignat said this on the air at the telethon.
“It is clear that Russia is restoring its aircraft fleet. If we are talking about such aircraft that have recently had on display, like the SU-55 or SU-57, then it takes a long time to put a big number “The SU-35s that the Russians have today are aircraft that they are mass-producing. They have already been targets for our air defense more than once,” Ignat said.
As for building up forces for the next strike, the Air Force press secretary of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that everything will depend on how many missiles the enemy has.
“We see that there was a rather long lull – the enemy was preparing, stockpiling missiles, so today we have such a massive attack. Today, 54 out of 69 cruise missiles were shot down. According to the speaker, after the “pop” at Engels airfield in Russia, the enemy transferred its strategic aviation to other airfields that can receive and serve it.

Ignat said that the Russians released 13 aircraft with 8 suspensions each. According to him, the next missile strike could be bigger.
“The question is how much are they currently willing to spend on the same cruise missiles. Do they have enough carriers,” Ignat added.
