He also curated exhibitions in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Stockholm (Sweden), London (England), Oslo (Norway), Seville (Spain), Ivory Coast, Santiago de Chile, Colonia and Punta del Este (Uruguay), and Panama.

He is the author of 113 books dedicated to the Art of the Argentines. With Clarion edited the Martin Fierro by José Hernández, with a glossary of 500 words.

He was married to Margarita O’Farrell for more than 40 years and was the father of four children: María, Ignacio, Marcos and Macarena.
