There was no way around it this week: Microsoft has bought Activision Blizzard. That naturally raised a lot of questions about exclusivity, to which there are actually few definitive answers.
For example, Microsoft indicates that Call of Duty has yet to appear on the PlayStation for the time being, but who knows how it will turn out when the current deals expire. In any case, it seems that Microsoft is getting its hands on even more exclusive franchises and studios, which may now be given more time and resources to release different types of games.
Hence the question: is the Activision Blizzard acquisition bad for gamers?
