IFK Göteborg is reported to be on the way to making a new signing from Iceland.
Recently, the Icelandic site fotbolti.net wrote that Blåvitt is close to an agreement with the Icelandic club KR Reykjavik regarding the forward Benoný Breki Andrésson, 18 – and on Tuesday the same site writes that the talent is now on his way to Sweden to complete a transfer to the Allsvenskan the big club.
According to fotbolti.net, Blåvitt is buying the talent from the Icelandic club, where there were previously reports that the price tag is 300,000 euros, around 3.4 million Swedish kronor.
Andrésson joined KR Reykjavik from Bologna’s academy operations in the spring of 2023, and also has a background playing in Icelandic Breidablik. Overall, he has scored ten goals and four assists in 28 games with KR.
Blåvitt also recently presented Oscar Pettersson from IF Brommapojkarna.
