If you’re not afraid, let’s meet in the sky!

BEIJING – A senior Air Force (AU) official China spit open challenges to United States of America (US). He challenged Washington’s warplanes to face Beijing in the skies.

People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLA-AF) Deputy Commander Wang Wei said America should be afraid of China’s growing military power.

Wang Wei’s open challenge is an apparent response to US Air Force Secretary Frank Kendall’s pledge last month to develop weapons that “scare” China.

Wang says it is China, which is becoming increasingly aggressive in the Indo-Pacific region, that is launching weapons that frighten America.

“I can only say, if they are not afraid, let’s meet in the sky,” Wang said to airshow recently in Zhuhai, as quoted from South China Morning Post, Thursday (30/9/2021).

Wang’s pride extends from his own military branch to the Chinese Navy.

“China’s Navy is able and confident to ensure national security and maintain integrity, as well as contribute to world peace,” Wang said.

“[Kendall] only as my colleague who comes from a big country,” he said.
