1. Drink After Eating
If you often drink tea after meals should be stopped. It is recommended to take it one hour before meals. This is because tea can detoxify toxins or preservatives in food. Drinking tea after eating can disrupt the absorption of nutrients in the body.
Absorption of iron and protein in food can also be hampered because of the presence of phytic acid.
“Actually, what is worried about drinking tea after eating is that the phytric acid content inhibits the absorption of nutrients, but still nutrients are absorbed, only hampered,” said Irma.
2. Tea Bags Soaked Too Long
If drinking tea bags, be reminded not to soak the tea bags for too long. If done for more than three minutes, it makes the tea toxic and nutrients are lost.

While Halodoc mentions soaking tea bags for too long can cause them to become thick and spoil the taste. The strong tea can interfere with the work of the kidneys.
3. Water is too hot

Sweet tea is indeed a favorite of some people, but this artificial sweetener makes it the same as other packaged drinks.
