Exercising, which is one of the most effective means to help the body structure deal with various pressures and adapt to them.

Cognitive assessment; As one of the causes of psychological stress is the process of cognitive evaluation that the individual performs in analyzing the events he is going through negatively, and interpreting it in a negative way, and to get rid of these pressures, the person has to reprogram his interpretation and evaluation of external pressures in a positive way.

Dr. Hala drew attention to the most important classifications and methods that scientists have developed to face psychological pressures, namely:

Kotten’s classification of physiological strategies that focus on the problem; And this method is often used if the source of stress is physiological, such as the individual’s affliction with a chronic disease, as he works to add some modifications to the individual’s lifestyle and the way he interacts and adapts to his disease.

Cognitive strategies that revolve around the problem; It is used to modify the way a person perceives the situations that make him feel under the influence of pressures, the method of analyzing these pressures, the events that caused the problem, and their methods (overcoming unhealthy and illogical thinking patterns, employing hypotheses, choosing and testing them in the problem-solving process).

Problem-centered behavioral strategies; They are some of the stressful ways and situations such as having the skill of time management.

– Physiological strategies that revolve around the mechanism of emotion, and this method aims to reach the individual to the ability to properly deal with the physiological symptoms resulting from various pressures; Such as relaxation training, and adjusting some lifestyle styles to become more positive.

– Behavioral strategies revolving around emotion, and aiming to learn the proper mechanism to respond to these pressures, i.e. learning to acquire new patterns such as fun, play and humor to reduce the severity of the response to difficult and stressful situations.
