Those who need to make these purchases before the next arrival of the hurricane season, have the opportunity to do so until this Monday, April 26. Purchases can be made online or in the store.

Here is a list of the products that you can buy without paying taxes:

- Emergency stairs.
- Hurricane shutters.
- Axes.
- Batteries, single or multiple pack (AAA battery, AA battery, C battery, D battery, 6 volts or 9 volts).
- Can openers – non-electric.
- Carbon monoxide detectors.
- Refrigerators and coolers for food storage – not electric.
- Fire extinguishers.
- First aid kits.
- Fuel containers.
- Ground anchoring systems and mooring kits.
- Axes
- Ice products: reusable and artificial.
- Light sources: self-powered portable (including battery-operated).
- Examples of items include: candles, lanterns, and lanterns.
