In the Dominican Republic, 61,965 doses of COVID-19 vaccines were applied on Wednesday, a reactivation that occurred after Public Health disposition to present the vaccination card to attend public places.
The information was offered by the Minister of Public Health, Daniel Rivera, who urged the population to continue at that rate to achieve 70% inoculation as soon as possible.
He explained that 24,862 doses were placed yesterday for the first dose; second 20,784 and third 16,319.
At the national level, 70.3% of the population has the first dose.
He said that as of Monday, those who have a dose placed with less than a month of validity can enter public or closed places without problems.
