“If you can’t learn a language for years – you’re stupid!” innovation entrepreneur Ęirts Kalniņš spoke so harshly about Russian speakers who do not know the national language in the TV24 program “Press Club”.
“This war in Ukraine and the example of the Ukrainians have shown that there must be a backbone. Must end to poop,” he emphasized.
The businessman says that one side does not respect this country, and the other side, which is unable to learn even one language, is simply stupid.
“I believe that such people who have not been able to do this for years should not be valued very highly, because their contribution to us as a Latvian nation is nothing,” says the businessman harshly.
He emphasizes that the Latvian nation must show its backbone to the end and begin to fully use the opportunities given by Ukrainians.
“To some extent, that internal code must be broken in the sense that language is one of our main values, and we must not lose it if we want to remain as a united nation,” Kalniņš explained.
