“If we don’t encourage going to the movies, I don’t know how the theaters are going to survive” | leisure and culture

Palma

The actor Hugo Silva has been this week in Mallorca; specifically, in Port de Sóller, due to the filming of the new film in which he stars, ‘El Faro’.

With a presence also in Menorca, at the Favàritx Lighthouse, it has not been an easy week of work due to the initial weather, which has prevented filming as planned. Despite this, the man from Madrid affirms in the SER that he has been delighted with the area and that he takes good memories of many scenes.

The artist has reflected on the role of digital platforms, how they modify the film industry and the gap that they gradually make in the awards galas. “It is true that sometimes they premiere in the movie theaters themselves, but these have to be watched so that they can survive”he has stated.
