Opinions even point out that it is a general issue in the world that people have relaxed sanitary measures, but that in the capital there is no state of alert that reveals a third wave of infections, so some people asked political actors, do not play with scaremongering.
In a tour carried out by EL UNIVERSAL outside the Hospital Siglo XXI where immunization against the coronavirus is applied, it was observed how the citizens of the capital adhered to sanitary measures, many even wearing double masks. The lines for the vaccine were long, but agile, and the wait time was minimal.
Most said they felt safe with the vaccine, but that did not imply relaxing with sanitary measures, as is happening in many parts of the country. Although infections show a rebound, specifically for the population aged 18 to 29 and 30 to 39.
According to testimonies, progress in the application of the vaccine for these sectors will help prevent the third wave from occurring, as long as care is not omitted and more so against the detected variants of the virus.

The workers of the capital government ordered people to avoid crowds; During the tour, the constancy in the use of the mask was observed, both in the vaccination area and in the vicinity.
In the Hospital Siglo XXI, on one side of door 1, a message placed on a card could be read: “Covid-19 Testing Application”, and during the time of the tour, no lines of people were observed to seek to have the swabbing.
Víctor Hugo López, was waiting for one of his relatives to come out of the vaccination, he said that he already had the doses, so he said that “everything is the fault of the citizens, if you can see, many already pass without face masks (on the sidewalk), they don’t keep their distance, a lot of civic culture is needed in that sense ”.

For his part, Baltazar López accused that the handling of the pandemic was “criminal” and has caused the citizens of the capital to lower the measures.
“This is going to continue and it will last for a long time, it is not the fault of society, it is the fault of the bad direction of the government, because one day it tells us one thing and the next a different one,” he said.
