Meanwhile, historical and social volcanologist at Queen Mary University of London, Jazmin Scarlett said the shock wave from the sudden gravitational hit would actually have an impact on the Earth’s crust.
“This could trigger more earthquakes, maybe trigger more volcanic eruptions,” said Jazmin Scarlett.
