The Polish politician Slawomir Mentzen, who is running for the presidency of Poland from the Confederation party, returned again to the subject of Volyn. In his post on social networks, he asks for an apology from Ukrainians for a historical crime.

In his latest entry on platform X, Slawomir Mentzen said that negotiations on Ukraine’s accession to the European Union are a good opportunity to fight for Poland’s interests.

“If joining the EU is so important to Ukrainians, let them finally apologize for Volyn, agree to exterminate the victims and stop worshiping the murderers,” – says Mentzen.

At the same time, he criticized the Polish authorities’ approach to this issue.

“Polish politicians’ attitude towards Volyn is terrible. President Andrzej Duda he showed again that he puts the interests of Ukraine above the interests of Poland. Polish politicians could not get anything from Ukraine in terms of military aid, and now they are preparing to get nothing even in the hypothetical situation of Ukraine’s integration with the EU, “ – Mentzen believes.
