Kaveh Rezaei hopes for a new chance at Club Brugge. However, the attacker cannot convince Philippe Clement during the preparation for the new season. Then Rezaie need not fear. Charleroi is happy to offer a way out.
“Kaveh hopes to convince Clement to give him a second chance. If he does not succeed and if I get a signal from Club that he is transferable again, I will be happy to talk to the Bruges management and the player Mehdi Bayat, the chairman of Charleroi, told Het Laatste Nieuws.
In 2018, Club Brugge picked Rezaei away from Charleroi. The attacker would never be able to leave his mark in the Jan Breydel stadium. Last season there was even no place in the Bruges A core for Rezaei. The attacker withdrew to Charleroi on a rental basis. There he became himself again with 14 goals and 5 assists in 26 league matches.
Rezaei still has a contract with Club Brugge until mid-2022.
