SYDNEY, KOMPAS.TVThe possibility of Russian President Vladimir Putin being ousted would turn out to be more dangerous for the West.

According to political observer Professor Alexey Muraviev, Putin’s successor is believed to be even worse and a threat to the West.

In addition, there were also rumors of a possible coup against Putin because the war in Ukraine did not yield positive results.

Moreover, Putin is known to have fired and imprisoned a number of his aides, which did not give satisfactory results in the attack on Ukraine.

Professor Alexey Muraviev, who is Professor of Strategy and National Security Studies at Australia’s Curtin University, Perth has analyzed what happens if Russia’s secret service tries to overthrow him.

“I believe there is a lot of potential for a coup, but not for reasons that we assume and understand,” he told Sky Sports quoted from Daily Star.

“If the coup is carried out by, say, Russian security law enforcement or the Russian military for that matter, it is not because they want to stop the war. It’s because they want to win the war,” Muraviev said.
