Ex player Liverpool Robbie Fowler suggests that Mohamed Salah for sale only. Especially if the player has shown signs of being uncomfortable.
One of the important pillars of Liverpool since being recruited from AS Roma in the summer of 2017. He helped lead the Reds to win the 2018/2019 Champions League and the Premier League last season.
Not long ago, Salah’s current attitude was pulled out by Jürgen Klopp in the match against Chelsea in the spotlight. The Egyptian attacker looked annoyed.
Shortly afterward, Salah’s agent, Ramy Abbas Issa, made a tweet containing only a period on his Twitter account. This then sparked speculation that something was wrong between Liverpool and Salah.
“If a player is nervous about moving, just let go,” Fowler told Mirror.
“I’m not badmouthing Salah. I really like him. But I really believe that the current transfer is largely a matter of what the players want. The ball is in his hands.”
Fowler also believes Juergen Klopp will not retain players who are no longer at home. He then cited Philippe Coutinho’s departure to Barcelona in January 2018.
“Klopp doesn’t want Coutinho because he thinks his attitude is not right and he doesn’t want poison in his squad,” said Fowler.
“So if Salah is really upset then just sell it and get as much funds as possible and use the money to make changes to the current team,” he said.
Since joining Liverpool, Mohamed Salah has scored 118 goals in 189 appearances in all competitions. This season, he has produced 17 goals in the Premier League.
