About the movie
Imaginary Friends tells the story of a girl with the incredible ability to see the imaginary friends of others, who were cast aside after her children grew up.
John Krasinski produced this film through his company Sunday Night, with the help of Ryan Reynolds. Who told the specialized media Collider who wrote the film with his children in mind. This, since his wife, actress Emily Blunt, won’t let them see “A Quiet Place,” a 2018 horror film that Krasinski also directed. “I had to make a movie that my children could see, and the truth is I am very, very excited about this one,” the actor commented to said medium.
Release date
While IF was originally scheduled to be released on November 17 of this year and then on May 24 of next year, the premiere has been rescheduled by Paramount Pictures for May 17, 2024. The delay is due to strikes in the world of cinema and television that took place this year.
