On Christmas Eve, the Nitsche Kvalvik family was healthy and well. The Christmas presents were delivered to family and friends and everything was ready for a nice Christmas celebration. But in the afternoon, five-year-old Amelia developed a high fever.
– It came very suddenly, says mother Julie Nitsche Kvalvik (30).
